Okay, first thing's first.
*drum rolls*
Introductions are for Caulder L. Pine.
*takes a bow*
My real name is Johnathon, but I'll go by Caulder, John, or whatever you feel like calling me. At the time of writing this I've been role playing for probably most of my life and will continue to do so until I can either not roll my dice or I die... whichever comes first. I was born in Heidelberg, Germany to a father in the army and twenty years later followed in his footsteps by joining the Marines.
By the age of 10 my older brother taught me about role play when he would roll dice with his friends, and although I couldn't get the concept of all those numbers meaning anything at the time (I was ten!) my brother and his friends found that I had a knack for telling stories. Yes, I'm the baby of the family, but I've never let that stop me from doing what I must. My mother hates that I spend all my time thinking up story lines and following through with them, but I mainly do it to have fun and because inside I feel there's a story waiting to pop out of my head.
Only one problem... writers block.
I've also been interested in art from the moment that I saw my first comic, and have been drawing almost as long as I've been role playing. Currently I love to draw furries because I feel it's easier to make a person physically more appealing with animal features. From tabletop RP, I went to Yahoo and created my own chat room. A fun place to be but after I refused to RP with a group that came in just to make trouble, I was unanimously ousted by the group only to have the chat room fail after only a week.
I never went back.
From there I found a game site known as Roleplay Online. It was a forum based RP, and I loved it 100%. But as I grew in ranks from simple player to GM I found myself literally carrying the game with seemingly no end of characters that I'd have to bring into the storyline. Another GM at the time had left everything to me and he kept himself busy as one of the basic players. All he wanted to do was just be the one that confirmed choices.
I later learned that it was because another game had taken all of his attention... Furcadia. Once the game went under, I searched around for a few months and found Furcadia, and had been there for only a few weeks when they had a massive reset that plopped me into FurN. While there, I saw this rather adorable young female named Chii... and as they say, the rest was history.
Outside of my RP life, my real life has evolved and revolved around mainly trying to get a job and keep it for a career, only to fail. So now I'm still looking and living with my current fiancee, Tia. Right now I'm starting to get scared because we barely have enough money to pay for food for ourselves, even with financial aid from the state, and are expecting a little girl in the first week of July. Still, I wouldn't trade this for anything.
